On a cold Christmas Eve night, snuggle up with your loved ones and listen to this CD. It expresses the true reason for the Christmas Season--the Nativity of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Nine months in the making, this CD contains 19 tracks, and is a mixture of Orthodox a cappella choral music and narrations. A twelve page color booklet is included. This is the first CD released by Nancy Barrow, who sings all choral parts.

"Christmas in the Ancient Church" is my first CD, which, God willing, will be followed by many more. Watch this website for new publications. I am a very "old fashioned" person, and wish to convey the haunting beauty of more simple and elegant times--times that some have never experienced or have forgotten. This CD is the a cappella Christmas music of the most ancient Christian Church--The Orthodox Church. Through this and other works, I wish to conjure visions of happier, simpler times, when mankind was more at one with nature and with God. Nancy Barrow |
